Discovering our territory, and the attractions and activities that the Varaita Valley offers for mountain stays in the heart of nature

The Ciambun farmhouse is located in the Varaita Valley at an altitude of 850mt, surrounded by lush greenery and the Monviso Park trail.
At the farmhouse's doorstep, you can find numerous routes of varying difficulty for comfortable trails on foot or by mountain bike.
Moving higher up, one can follow high mountain trails with a stunning view of Monviso, which with its 3841m of altitude constitutes an iconic element of significant tourist appeal.

In addition, just 35 km away, the Colle dell'Agnello international pass at an altitude of 2744 metres connects the Varaita Valley with France, which is open to vehicles in the summer from June to October, and constitutes a splendid motoring and hiking circuit for visiting and discovering the Queyras Regional Park.

In winter, due to climate change, things are shifting rapidly, but for snow enthusiasts, there are numerous ski mountaineering or snowshoeing trips of varying difficulty.

The valley offers countless routes that cover the most popular hiking routes, with higher itineraries and more significant differences in altitude, or with loops that do not go up in altitude.

In winter, the area around the Monviso massif constitutes one of the most beautiful ice-climbing areas in the Western Alps.
