Ciambun Farm

Every day we strive to support the land around us with the care it deserves, to process its products in a sustainable manner and to promote a healthy lifestyle for the animals and for anyone who comes to experience this place, even if only for a day.

The farm was established in 1986 as a rearing farm for the Mèrens horse, an animal with great potential and versatility in our mountainous region.


Today, the farm is mainly dedicated to rearing cattle of the Piedmontese breed.

All our cattle graze for 6-7 months of the year and in the summer they move up to the alpine meadows above 1400 m and this allows us not only to guarantee animal welfare but also excellent meat quality.


In our meadows, we make hay, in order to have fodder for the cattle and to preserve a unique agricultural landscape.

In our fields we cultivate a large vegetable garden that allows us to have fruit and vegetables for the farm; we also grow a small selection of medicinal herbs that are used in our dishes and souvenirs.
